I messed around with it for a bit and tried to download some new drivers
. The issue was that it couldn't really install. There were compatibility issues with the .exe file. However, almost by luck, I ran across this one program/built-in device, which can update it from a "disc". All it was looking for was a .inf file I think. So, I just looked through the folder that unpacks with the ATI files and clicked the first one I saw. It restarted the computer, and afterwards, it was fine.
Maybe that will work for you too?
I don't know, but I'm glad this worked out, because everything is just a lot better now.
