Thaks all,I am all but convinced on the msi gtx560ti but rather than the 1gb I'm considering the 2gb as I have found it for 227 it's a little over the 200 I wanted to spend but what is a budget if it can't be broken.I'm going to mount it on the asrock z77 extreme 6 and with 16gb venegance ram and ov course the i5 2500 cpu. After about a week ov almost solid research I am finally set on these items just need to find a case now, cheers for the help guys

Nice choice paul, as I said before, of all the cards you showed the MSI was easily the better of the lot.

Of course it's still no AMD but we can't all be winners! ;P

I haven't really got much faith in amd gpu's Ive had nothing but problems with my current pc running, intel and,a radeon card.So im going with intel.and msi>i have finally decided on my chassis, with the coolermaster 840 atc,it's a gorgeous all ally case and just a great all rounder with a grown up look rather than having loads,ov plastic and steel mesh looking horrible in the corner ov my living room.COOLER MASTER ATCS 840 FULL TOWER ATX BLACK ALUMINIUM CASE on eBay! what it is it's a real bargain at only 92,every where elase it is around the 180 mark so a great bargain to start my week off to a good start.

I almost universally just avoid ATI/AMD video cards because of pathetic support for Linux over the past 7 years or so. Nvidia has been a far better choice, and for somebody like me who uses both Windows and Linux....haven't good device driver support is a huge bonus. My last AMD/ATI card was a Radeon X800XT. Since then, I have had a few Nvidia 9600GT's, a 9800GTX+ and now a GTX 570.

+1 more.

The AMD drivers, as of late, have been terribly unstable for most of the newer cards.
