Intel HD graphics 2500 vs 3000/4000?

    Doesn't seem as easy and convenient as WMC Extender, nor does it seem to support subtitles.

    Well unfortunately I do not have a xbox360 here to test on. Hopefully someone else will have something for you...
    It could conceivably even be a network cable problem.
    I still hold that a dual core over 2ghz should be able to manage the stream though.

    Now that some of the CPU's have arrived, has anyone done any comparisons yet?

    Notebookcheck.net seems to rate it better than the HD 3000 except in one case where the additional EUs make a difference.

    yeah a couple of percentage points across the board for a price premium.

    I wouldn't say i's too much more expensive... According to Newegg the cheapest i5 with HD 3000 is $224 while the cheapest i5 Ivy is $199. And it's definitely better than HD 2000
