Window 7 does not remember the display after sleeping

I'm using Windows 7 x64 on my Dell Latitude D630 laptop. The latest Nvidia driver for Quadro NVS 135M is installed. I have two monitors: the laptop display and the external Dell 2009W. I use Dell as my main monitor, so I set this in both Personalize and Nvidia windows. The computer loads and shows the monitor correctly, but when I open the lid after the sleeping mode, it's always the laptop display that is working. I have to switch to the external Dell manually. Nothing like this happened in XP or Vista. Any ideas how I can fix it?
