New to the forums, I just bought a new computer.. about 3 weeks old now and it runs WoW pretty well.. i keep checking out new games on Can You Run It, and it tells me that i meet EVERY requirement on all of the games except for Dedicate Video Ram.. any way to change this? i have 16 gigs of DDR3 ram and i dont know if theres a way to change how much is dedicated to the video card? i dont even know if it works that way.. this brand is an offbrand.. its called ZT i knew it has 2 TB 16 gigs DDR3 ram 64 bit Interl core 17 processor 3.70 GHz... not sure how to find any other info though.. im kinda a computer noob.. very basic idea on this kinda stuff
Go to Run, type "DXDIAG" (without quotes). In the Display tab, you will see the memory of your video card. Also, you will find the name of your video card. please post that.
Approx. total memory is 1696 MB
i think the name is Intel(R) HD Graphics Family ?

It looks like you're using on-board graphics. There might be an option in the BIOS whereby you can change the amount of system memory that is allocated for the graphics to use, however these might be limited (assuming that the option is available in the first place).
You can enter the BIOS by watching for the prompt when you first power up your computer. In many systems, this will be F2 or Del, but the prompt or motherboard manual should tell you the key to press.

And unless there is an option in the bios or the Intel graphics control panel, no there is no way to increase the dedicated video memory.
ZT, as in ZT systems, as sold at Costco? Which model?
I don't see a lot of information about BIOS settings at the company's web page.

(You'd need to change the RAM dedicated to video in the BIOS setup, I believe.)
If you want more VRAM for games, you'd do better to add a discrete graphics card. The good news is that your PC has a PCI-E X16 slot. The bad news is that you probably have a 350W power supply, which is less than a most mid-range cards require. You could probably upgrade the PSU with a heftier industry-standard unit, but that would add expense and effort. (And a little risk, if you're not experienced.)
