Nividia Gforce Gt 525m problem

I can't see any other monitor on my device manger other than generic pnp monitor, doesn't another monitor should be displayed for the nividia GForce GT 525m card,

only in the display adapters the nividia appears , how is that possible and does it mean that the nividia card has a problem or what?, because I can't make any use of the nividia card as if it isn't there ,and I can't enable the 3d vision.

my laptop is inspiron n5110 i5 and I installed the drivers for nividia

I don't really understand your question.

The listings for the monitor and display adapter are separate in Device Manager. It's possible that there is no .inf file for the display.

I believe that the N5110 supports nVidia's Optimus feature:

Optimus Technology

I have no personal experience with it, but I believ that it requires that drivers for both the nVidia display adpater and the Intel onboard graphics be installed. (The Intel graphics are used for applications that don't need a lot of processing power, to extend the operating time when you're running on battery power.)

maybe I started wrong , well my problem is that I can't enable the 3d vision , and when I try to open jps files I get this message "primary display adapter's does not support 3d vision", and this confuses me because the nividia card should support the 3d vision even when I tried to make nividia my preferred graphics processor the system stop responding , I even can't change the refresh rate to above 60hertz as the nividia is up to 80hertz, what do you think is the problem?

Is your model specified to support 3D Vision? There's no mention of it in the Setup Guide at

hardware support for 3D Vision appers to be rare. (I've never had it, which makes me wonder why the 3D Vision drivers are installed by default with the nVidia driver package, evenon though they are rarely usable.)
