Best way to get dual HDMI(video and audio) with LLANO CPU

I'd like to have dual HDMI coming from my computer to 2 displays. Both should get the same audio and video signal.

My setup:
CPU: AMD A6-3500
MOBO: Gigabite GA-A75M-D2H
Display1: 42" LCD TV( living room )
Display2: 23" ASUS display(HDMI/DVI/VGA) ( home office )

I see my options as:
  1. Buy 2 video cards(ie Radeon 6540 ) 1 in PCIex16 slot, 1 in PCIex4 slot. $90
  2. Buy HDMI splitter $45
#1 is probably the most dependable solution. However, for #2 I've read a lot of reviews for the HDMI splitter that I want, and it should work since both displays support HDMI and 1920x1280 resolution.

Which do you guys think works best for a non-gamer?

*Note that I'm currently using VGA out from the motherboard to run the 23", that works except Windows 7 detects the display as non-PnP and limits the resolution to 1600x1200 .
