Windows 7: I need help with NVidia Fx 5500

I just installed Windows 7..but i dont know how to install my graphic card (NVidia Fx 5500) for windows Aero.... i downloaded from nvidia but when i installed it appears:

"The NVIDIA Setup Program Could not locate any drivers that are compatible with your current hardwar.Setup will now exit"

please anybody help me !!!!!

First take a deep breath and calm down. It'll be hard to help you if you are upset.

Once you feel a bit relaxed answer these few questions;

Are you using Windows 7 RC or Windows 7 RTM?
Where did you get the copy of Windows 7 from? (be honest)
Are you using a 32-bit version of Windows or a 64-bit version of Windows?

The latest drivers for the FX 5500 that I found are 96.85. Not sure if they would allow you to enable aero, but they are made for your card. You can get them here

I take it I am the only one that actually uses the manufactures site?

The version I linked him to is 190.62.

It was linking me to the wrong drivers.. these don't support 5500.. at all.. any of the 5000 models actually.
