Begging YOUUUU For Help Monitor RR problem!

I have got a Problem that is just driving me nuts, Cause i cant enjoy my KotOR 2 game Properly- I got a great computer system, with nice monitor (ASUS Make, runningat 1280x1024 Res)
And I was Playing and Enjoying the Game (s) with the same resolution for months, at refresh rate 75 all the time.
Now, i DID switch to another Older system at some point, ie. i have Disconnected all peripherals, Keyboard, mouse AND monitor from my New system, And connected them to the old one- just casue one game doesnt like new 64 bit system- and after i Was done, I reconnected to my new computer again0 And weird stuff started happening- Firstly, my resolution went to 1024x768 . I fixed that in personalisation. When i Launched my KotOR 2 game, I noticed tha the Only Refresh Rate (RR) option was 60 (!!!!), Not 75, so I thought- Okay, this is just current setting in Windows
So i Went back to personalisation- and in Monitor tab in advanced settings there is ONLY 60! No 75!

So, Basically, My pproblem is- I had EXACTLY the same monitor, after Briefely switching it to another computer, literally less than a day, I connected it with original one and RR is now locked to 60 for unknown Reason, PLEASE please tell me how to fix it, before i go nuts to extent of actually writing a report to microsoft.

    Clik here> ASUS - Display- ASUS MM17D

Checked the pdf manual and it a 75Hz monitor. Wanted to be sure.

I see you have an ATI video card. If you are using the AMD Catalyst driver/software you will need to select the Hz settting and resolution in Catalyst not through Windows.

You can check though this thread here> Latest AMD Catalyst Video Driver for Windows 7

I'm not up on the AMD video hardware/software. I've been using Nvidia.

I passed on a request to get some of the AMD specialists to come and take a look. They know a lot more than me.
    Good luck.

I'm not sure if you did this or not but...

Make sure you turn off the PC and turn off the monitor before disconnecting the monitor.
If either was powered on when you disconnected the monitor that might have caused the settings to change.
    Just a possibility.
