At the risk of offering insult by asking the obvious,

Is the monitor connected to the 6770? If yes, do you see anything during POST (power on self test)?

Is the 6770 fully seated in the PCI-E X16 slot?

There may be no beep codes without a case speaker attached to the pins on the front panel block.

If Omega09 is seeing and hearing nothing, that makes things hard to diagnose. The obvious things would be to try a different graphics card, or to try the 6770 in a different system. Not helpful suggestions if neither are available.

Yea, but now theres another problem. the pc shuts off on its own while i play games. I did some research and most people said it might be overheating or a power issue. But its has 500 watts, i only have 1 hard drive and 1 CD driver, nothing else on the computer. Is it overheating? what can i do? All the fans seem to working fine.
