Windows 7 will not show dual monitors

As of right now I am running Windows XP Pro 64bit cause Windows 7 will not display dual monitors, I tried a combination of things and nothing... But xp shows them both with no problems and I didn't even have to install my driver for it! Windows 7 uli when I stall the driver cause i have the same disk that came with the video card what's the deal-le-o here

Running: on board video is Nvidia GeForce 6100 512mb
PCI card with dual vga ports and 1 S-Video port Nvidia GeForce FX 5200

not sure if ram has anything to do with this but i have 3.25gb ram but both windows 7 and xp only show 2gb I'm thinking that might have to do with that 1.25gb are not of the same as the 2 1gb sticks I got that figured out so what am I missing her??????

Do you have both monitors connected to the FX5200? Your motherboard may not permit onboard graphics and a discrete card to be used at the same time.

On my desktop at work, with a Quadro FX1800 adapter, the second monitor only became usable after I ran the multiple monitor configuration in the nVidia control panel. Are you able to run that?

I did a combination of: both monitors off the card I did one on board and one on card after I used the installtion cd i went into the Nvidia panel and that show'd no 2nd monitor of any combination I tried nor did the windows display section, in my bios i have theses options

1.} Primary Graphics Adapter: PCIExpress or Onboard
2.} Onchip and PCIe VGA Selection: Disable Onchip VGA if have PCIe VGA or Both exist and Onchip VGA by frame buffer select
    3.} Onchip VGA frame buffer size: Disabled, 16mb, 32mb, 64mb or 128mb

as a side note I did download a copy of windows 7 ulit but compare to the copy that was bought before it melted lol seem to work fine windows xp pro was also downloaded and works fine and no viruses on either one so I thing we can rule that out!!!

Definitely you want to have both monitors connected to the FX 5200 and the onboard graphics diabled.

What drivers are you using for the FX 5200? I don't see anything newer than Vista drivers at www.nvidia.com.
