    Amd Drivers Question ?

i have a question about the display drivers. Which are the important drivers to install for the display and HDMI Audio?
As i see during installation that there is an application by the name of AMD SDK or Hydra so it is necessary to install them or only the display driver and HDMI audio is enough for playing games and watching HD movies ?

You should install any drivers listed for the device/devices.. I dont think that any could be classified as "Not important enough to install". I know the SDK is a DEV Kit im pretty sure, you might be able to do without. Did you build your PC custom or did it come from a manufacturer?

I would recommand installing all the components, it does not require that much of space. Not of all of them are necessary thought. Just to make sure, install everything anyway.

Personally I don't like installing anything I don't need or want.
The more things that are installed, the more potential there is for problems.
I prefer a cleaner system without any un-needed "stuff".

I don't need AMD SDK or Hydravision, so I don't install them.
If later I find I do want them, I'll install them.

In some cases older drivers work better for me...

I have an HTPC with multiple displays, audio devices, media programs, codecs, utilities, etc...
For me, making sure everything works well together is more important than having the "latest and greatest".

I create a backup image before installing/uninstalling anything or trying configuration changes.
