185.85 doesn't come with 3D vision drivers. It's 186.18 and upwards, and as far as I'm concerned, the memory leak is still there when playing some games, especially Star Wars Galaxies.
Whoops I forgot to specifically mention the driver version timeframe...you are indeed correct

If you feel that it is still memory leaking for you than have you disabled the service that uses 3D vision or do you actually use that?

I found out what it was eventually and fixed it today, it was starting to get pretty bad. I was at 100% CPU usage and 95% RAM usage just sat on desktop idle. I upgraded back to 190.62 and installed the new 3D Vision patch that fixes memory leaks, but that wasn't it. I found out, that the WMP Network Sharing process was hogging everything. Apparently it gets stuck in a loop with some .avi files and will cause a bad memory leak. Though I dunno why it started happening recently. Stopping and disabling the service and then using Microsoft's ProcessExplorer to end the process will fix it.

Well I just got back my other 9800gt and installed it in normal mode and also got the 800x600 problem. When I try to enable SLI it says a prgram needs to be closed Nview wel when you do this you can't run SLI. I went to the Nvidia site and all the offer is the 190.62 driver which won't let you run SLi both cards are reconized in device mngr whaaa just want to run SLI any ides?

Do you have the SLI bridge connected and the right way round? I know it's a simple thing, but there's been a couple of times I've absentmindedly forgot to re-connect it

Thanks for your reply and yes I installed the bridge. What happens is the Nview has to close down inorder to run sli but then you only get a max 800x600 resolution or maybe 1024x 768 which means on a 23in displayu screen you have a 1 inch top and bottom black and a 2in on the sides. I've tried several different drivers with the same problem. Is this a driver issue or the Areo in 7 and why close Nview were all the physic and sli settings are? Right now I'm Lost In Space on this deal works great on xp with 3dmark05 17326 and single card on 7 at 11301 given up on it for now since with 7 I get a hell of alot more eye candy. But win 7 SLI Please

Well since Vista, Nvidia Control Panel always closes now when you enable SLI. It is annoying a bit, as with XP, SLI enabled instantly, but now you get the whole black screen and programs having to close before it enables.

Try upgrading your BIOS if you're not already on the latest one.

Already using the latest bios. I read the Nvidia driver support for the 190.62 and it claims to support SLI tri and quad but I still get the same thing 800x600 and Nview gone. Lost for ideas at this point. Thanks anyway. Fabe

I visited slizone and their ws a post about writeing a vshScript to enable it. Whatever I can't belive Nvidia would release a driver that won't let you enable SLI. Frankly I give up I've got Hours and hours of searching on this an nobody has any answers. So I will wait till a driver update or till someone figures it out I tell ya it's a cryn shame booo hoo
