BEST HD viewing for WMC

Hello all,

I'm curious to see if there is a BETTER HD WMC viewing experience than onboard HD 4000 via i3770K on a DH77EB ? I have a budget (like to stay around 250). In the past EVGA has done a great job, so I would like to see what you all suggest with this product line... Im not a gamer per say mostly live & recorded TV through WMC.
Thanks
Steve r2

MATX case? So it would need to be a low profile card then?

Well, TBH, pick the strongest Low-Pro GPU you can get. If it's not for gaming, you don't need to go crazy. Low-Pro cards won't be anyway. This should suffice. be sure to get a DVI to HDMI adapter as well.

usually microATX cases don't have room for full sized cards. What is the exact make/model of the case?

Okay, you should definitely be able to fit a reg GPU in there. I had this GPU before I got my 580. It's a great card. Should suit your needs just fine.

+1 on the 550ti, it's a fantastic card for HD video decoding, it's more than capable of playing a few powerful games as well, if that tickles your fancy

BSOD during WMC viewing?
I have gotten 2 BSODs within 10 minutes of each other while trying to watch TV. I will post the minidumps and try to get the 300MB+ dump file to upload also. No luck uploading the dump file so you'll just have to rely on the minidumps - sorry. Unless you can figure out a way to get around the...

Viewing RAW in W7 64
I take a lot of photos and shoot RAW (CR2) only. Is there a way to view these files in Win 7 64 bit (and also to render thumbnails)? In Vista, WPG Live enabled me to view them, but I installed WPG Live a while back in beta with no success (also, if I remember correctly, the Live install file...

How do users view this site when they open it? I am interested, almost purely, in help given and help asked for. When I open this site, or any other similar, I found the easiest way to read it was to immediately go to "New Posts". Over the past weeks, this has created a problem for me. I...
