ASUS laptop not recognizing monitor thru HDMI, but HDMI works!
I have a ASUS Bamboo laptop, with integrated Intel HD graphics and Nvidia GF 310M.
2 nights ago I got a 24" LEd monitor, and was working fine, the laptop whent to sleep and the monitor wouldnt be recognized anymore. I tried a different HDMI input from the monitor and everything was great again. Last night pc whent to sleep, and the monitor wont be recognized anymore again.
I updated and even reinstalled the drivers for both cards, the monitor works great with my Vaio, the Asus does work with HDMI to DVI to an older TV. Its just this specific monitor that wont recognize now.
Here is the kick!.. While i kept trying to find a way to make it work just a bit ago, the monitor shut down, and was still pluigged to the HDMI in the computer, i didnt even noticed, I unplugged the monitor from the wall/power outlet... and all of the sudden the laptop recognized the monitor!!!! but the monitor had no power!... I got all excited and plugged back in, and the monitor disapeared!...
The monitor will be recognized when it has no power :S ....
Any solutions for this?.. I would really really apreciated!
