Hello new to the fourms, I am here because i am having a issue with catalyst control center. When i try to open it it says host application stopped working, then it says windows is searching for a solution, but it never finds one, and it never opens. i have already had the problem with the public key token where you have to go in and delete it in the past. Resolved that issue, but i am having problems fixing this one. I have already did most of the things most people say to do like deleting and reinstalling the drivers
and control center, also used the driver
sweeper to clear it all out still did not work. This just started today while I was on the internet the screen went black and i had to shut the computer off by the button on the front. when i started it back up this problem started to occur. i just want to get the control center to work so i can overclock and control the fan and change settings on my video card. please guys help me out I know someone out there knows the answer. Thanks. Now i am getting a new message this morning TSAssist.exe abnormal program termnation.
Well i have fixed it somewhat. I got the ccc to open again by uninstalling everything, then using driver sweeper to clean out all AMD stuff. after that I went and downloaded an older version of ccc (requested to download by AMD) 11.6 Beta now it opens and works. Now the only problem I have now is I am still getting this message at startup TSAssist.exe: Abnormal Program Termination. any ideas /why i get this message? Thanks again.
