Uninstalled graphics card. Windows cannot detect it now

    Hello
I uninstalled my nvidia graphics card via device manager because I was having annoying freezes and nothing I tried fixed it. But when I restarted windows, the graphics cards didn't appear any more and I couldn't install the drivers back. Since it's a laptop I can't just unplug it and plug it in again. How do I get it back?

Do not try to install it through Device Manager.

I just did mine less than an hour ago. So maybe this will help.

After reboot W7 will load but have poor resolution. Go to where the Nvidia driver is downloaded (mine was in the Download folder) double click the Nvidia driver download and follow the prompts to install.

It may show it did not install the driver but don't worry just reboot when it is finished installing or says it didn't install properly.
That is what mine did and after a reboot all was installed properly.

Also after reboot the Monitor will show in Device Manager.

I am not using device manager to install. I have downloaded the drivers from nvidia. When I try to install them the first thing it does is a compatibility check, and it does not detect that card thus not allowing me to continue.

The problem is that windows IS NOT DETECTING the card AT ALL after I uninstalled the drivers and I am asking how to fix that.

    Fixed
The problem was that after I uninstalled the graphics card, the PCI drivers got messed up so I reinstalled them and it managed to find the card after that.
