Disappearing overscan settings after monitor is put to sleep

I'm running Win7, with AMD HD 3200 series integrated graphics on a Gigabyte motherboard, GA-MA78GM-S2H. Monitor is LG W2253V, at 1920x1080, connected via HDMI.

When I first connected this monitor with HDMI, the picture did not fill the entire screen of the panel. I used the Vision Engine Control Centre to adjust the overscan to 0%, which allows full use of the screen. Occasionally, the computer would be slow to wake up from sleep, and the resolution would be wrong. I would use control panel>personalization to reset it. Slightly annoying, but infrequent so I didn't search for a solution.

However, I updated to Catalyst Version 12.3 today, and now my overscan setting returns to default every time the monitor goes to sleep. Since I have this set to happen after 5 minutes, I have to frequently change it back.

Should I uninstall all AMD software? Any other solution?

Looks like I found the culprit. I unistalled LG's Forte Manager program, and haven't had any problems since.
