HD4830 versus N9800GT

Double review: HD4830 versus MSI N9800GT.

Today we are going to offer you two reviews for the price of one. A sort of celebrity video card death match. NVIDIA's 9800 GT is going to be going up against ATI's HD 4830. Things could get ugly!
The ATI HD 4830 was officially launched mere moments ago. What's it all about? Well, if there is one hole in ATI's video card line-up, it is in the $100 to $150 range. Today's HD 4830 will be selling initially for $129 USD, pitting it squarely up against our second contender -- one we've yet to have the pleasure of reviewing -- the 9800 GT.

I would have to say, since I use linux and have tested both of those cards. I am content with the N9800GT, works like a dream!

I love my 9800GT and funny thing is I had better numbers on my card then they had in those benchmarks. I got about 27FPS on those settings at 1280x1024 on my alternate monitor while I played Mirror's Edge on my PS3 on my main monitor.

are you thinking about ATI now Ted..??

if so look at the 4850

$134 after MIR, the 4830 is retailing at $124..... for an extra $10 you get a real performance boost over the 4830 & 9800GT
