Brand New LCD Monitor looks washed out and blurry

I just got a brand new computer last night, but the monitor looks very washed out, and blurry. I have researched the matter, but have found no solutions, and I really don't want to have to take it back. I ran a display quality test, and it found two errors, but didn't explain how to fix them...

"Visual effects settings aren't optimized for best performance"

"current video card driver isn't compatible with the wddm"

My exact computer is this one...

My exact monitor is this one...
Amazon.com: Acer S230HL 23" Class Widescreen LED Monitor: Computers & Accessories

I really hope that someone can help me, or I'll have to return it, and fear that the next one will be the same way.

Are you using the onboard graphics?

What graphics drivers are you using?

Which interface are you using (HDMI or VGA)?

In addition to bobkn's questions are you running it at it's native resolution? (1920 x 1080 according to your link) Flat panels only look "right" at their native resolution. (or an exact multiple of same)

The interface is VGA, It is at its native resolution (I read all about that) The color quality set to 32-bit, and I have updated all of the drivers, but it still says, "current video card driver isn't compatible with the wddm"

Have you checked your DirectX is upto date

Old dx can cause wddm issues

How about a snip of the screen ?

I suppose that your graphics controller is the onboard HD6320 one.

    What driver are you using?

How much memory is allocated to the graphics? (Long shot here.)
