Apps performing poorly when choosing High Performance in CCC

    im using win7 (64bit) . HP Pavillion g6 1202tx laptop . 500 MB HDD . 4GB RAM . Intel Core i3.
My laptop came with ATI Radeon HD 6470M graphics card.
Since the day i purchased my laptop i always chose the option High Performance in Catalyst Control Centre for games like (Street Fighter x Tekken) and also chose the option High Performance for my media player (Daum Potplayer) and trust me i had no problems.

But now after formatting my system & doing a clean install of win7 , things ain't so good.

I mean after the format , i went to HP site and downloaded & installed all the correct drivers for my model.
Then i opened the Catalyst Control Centre and chose the option "High Performance" for apps like my media player , for games like "Street Fighter x Tekken" and for my browser Firefox.

Then while playing movies on the media player i noticed green lines and distortion ,
while using firefox i noticed black lines , and also games like street fighter x tekken were lagging.
so i went back to "catalyst control centre" and changed the option from high performance to power saving for those particular apps i mentioned above. and things went back to normal except the game street fighter which was still lagging.

I mean i have all the correct drivers installed and i can't figure out what's causing this?
My antivirus "QuickHeal Internet Security 2013" is up to date and says no virus found on scanning.
and don't tell me to use malwarebytes anti malware , coz its creating conflict with my QuickHeal antivirus.
i mean , i used mbam all these year with quickheal , had no problem , but recently both the apps released their latest version & since then they don't get along well together and freezes the system like it happened in my case few months ago.

Also im having problem playing Youtube videos . my flash player is up to date , and some youtube videos won't start and shows a black screen on youtube website. Heard many people having this issue so i posted it here , if you guys have any solution for it .
    Thanks
