Computer does not see either of my video cards, just VGA compatable.
I recently a few weeks ago went to update my Nvidia driver on my Geforce 560 GTX. I ran driver sweeper then installed the newest beta driver. The driver failed to install and now my Computer is not recognizing my video card under device manager. It is simply just showing as a standard VGA. I have unistalled the VGA and restarted and the computer tries to auto download my nvidia driver from windows update. That fails as weel. I have tried over 100 times sweeping drivers and trying different version of the nvidia drivers directly from their website. I have an Nvidia 8800 GT graphics card that I swapped out to see if it was just my video card and I am getting the same exact failed to install driver warning. When I go to install these drivers it takes about an hour before it says failed to install.
Here are my system specs:
Intel(R) Core(TM)2 CPU 6600 @ 2.40GHz
Intel Corporation DP43BF
WDC WD2500KS-00MJB0 ATA Device
High Definition Audio Device
Windows 7 64 bit
I used Windows 7 forums system info program to scan those and the video card did not show up.
