Should I flash my Graphics cards BIOS before I return it?

There was a problem with the Radeon HD 6950 itself. That wasn't apparent to me until I installed the GeForce GTX 670, so I contacted XFX and they said they'd give me a £160 discount from anything in their store in return for my card. I'm worried that they'll find out I unlocked the extra shaders on it and say the warranty is void ect. Should I not take any chances and install it then flash the BIOS back using the batch files from TechPowerUp (I think the BIOS included in the batch files is a Sapphire BIOS. They'll probably figure) or not bother? Or should I go in the middle, and just flick the switch on the card to the 2nd BIOS?
