    Catalyst control center help please!


    ok so catalyst control center is acting up big time. i cant open the program at all. i dont even get a tray icon. at first every time i tried to open it id get the error message "Host application stopped working" and now ive reinstalled it after completely uninstalling and i get this error message "Could not load file or assembly 'CLI.Implementation' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified." i dont know what to do. someone help please?

    What did you use to re install CCC?

    thats what i used. i did both auto detect and i did it manually

    Ok thanks for the feedback. Have you tried restoring your computer to a previous time using

    no i havent. but i did do what someone suggested and reinstalled .net framework as well.

    Ok are you able to perform a system restore to a previous point before the issues occurred?

    well im not quite sure when in first started happening. was a few months back and i have a lot of things that i need on my HD now.

    Ok thats understandable, i am currently not able to access my computer and doing this from my iphone. So i wont be able to reply soon due to upcoming events. I hope it is not a major concern, but i will try my best to get back to you ASAP. Thanks for your cooperation. It shouldn't be too long.:/

    What you could do is uninstall the current CCC drivers then reboot and clean out any amd drivers with driver sweeper. Also one question,what video card are you using to be able to give you the correct link for your video cards drivers. This tutorial in the blue link will show you how to clean out your drivers with driver sweeper and reinstall your ccc drivers to the latest version for your video card.
