1280 x 720 on Intel 965GM

I would like to use the resolution of 1280 x 720 (weather it looks nice or not) on my screen occasionally but nothing I've found on the web has helped me so far? Can any of you helpful people help me?

But your screen resolution is already 1280x800...
Why lose the extra 80 vertical pixels?

Couldn't you just render your video in 720p? That's what I do when i'm rendering my videos,I use camtasia studio 7 for my videos but i'm pretty sure what ever your using has that option also. Also have you updated the drivers for your intel graphics and made sure your monitor supports 1280x720 because forcing it could break the monitor if it's not supported. What's the highest resolution your monitor can use?

My drivers are up to date, max resolution is 1280 x 800, then down to 800 x 600. 15.4" TFT Screen if that helps? I use Camtasia Studio 8, what is render, how do you render?

Yea that's how you make it a custom resolution in camtasia studio. Then it will render the video in 720p format.
