    BSOD error 0x0000009f Driver_Power_State_Failure

    Hi,

I am brand new to this forum, and I am in need of some help. I have a Dell Precision T1500 workstation and have a few issues with a repeating Blue Screen error. The bug check code is 0x0000009f, Bug String 'Driver_Power_State_Failure' and is caused by driver: ntoskrnl.exe. It is occuring when I shut down from time to time. The computer takes a while to shutdown, then comes up with this blue screen. I am wondering if the problem is something to with a while ago, I removed the pre installed graphics card (which is an ATI Fire Pro v4800) temporarily, and installed an Nvidia graphics card (long story as to why). I have since reinserted and installed the ATI Fire Pro, got rid of the Nvidia and its drivers. All has seemed to work ok since then, but I have a suspicion that my computer has had underlying problems ever since. Perhaps driver conflict of some kind. I don't have a great amount of technical knowledge in this area, so I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction towards solving this. Much appreciated. Thanks for reading!

First un-install every vga driver and then fresh install.
