    How do I use my vizio TV as a monitor for my dell Inspiron n5050 (VGA)


    Hi, I'm trying to use my Vizio TV as a monitor for my dell Inspiron n5050 using VGA/SVGA video cable. I clicked "detect" in the display section of the control panel and an alternate monitor does not appear. The cord is secure and the TV is on the right setting. What am I doing wrong? Do I need a driver?

    I think the setting would be extend desktop

    you will still have a picture on the laptop but will extend to the vizio like a dual monitor effect

Hi, I'm trying to do a factory restore on an Inspiron N5050, and the F8 menu does not have the 'Repair Your Computer' option, nor other expected items, such as last known good config. All it shows is the 3 safe mode options, and the boot windows normally option. Dell's F12 menu is also missing...
hey folks...i need sum help! u must be knwing tat dell has a restore s/w calld "dell data safe local backup" thru wich u can restore ur system to factory settings. once i made a fresh windows installation so tat data safe backup s/w is gone...if i try 2 restore by pressing f8 at the boot...dell...
