Lenovo v570 1066-CLU - GeForce 525M hangs after short gameplay
My recently purchased Laptop, a Lenovo IdeaPad v570, has been having problems with the NVIDIA portion of the display driver.
After a minute or so of using the NVIDIA driver, the audio starts to stutter, then the game just freezes, with a short audio loop. I have to reboot the laptop manually to fix this, as it freezes the whole computer. I tried downgrading to the Lenovo recommended driver from the latest build, but I'm still having the same issue.
On some occasions, it doesn't freeze, so I can alt-tab and see the message:
"Display Driver stopped responding and has recovered".
Even if games are running smoothly, they still have issues. One example is Team Fortress 2, but If I disable the NVIDIA driver in Device Manager, the Intel one works fine.
Pretty weird. I have both the Intel HD Graphics 3000 and GeForce 525M driver versions supplied by the manufacturer (Lenovo).
I've been trying to get the BSOD logs, but it says "Access is denied" even though I've ownership over the Windows folder and I'm an Administrator. if anyone knows how to get past that, feel free to tell me how.
I attatched my DxDiag in case you need it.
Any help or possible solutions are appreciated.
