AMD display driver stopped working and has succesfully recovered.

Hey guys. I am experiencing a problem, which i've seen alot of other people are, where my computer screen starts turning off, then back on, off then back on about 4-5 times, where afterwards it restarts, when it happens my mouse also freezes. There is a catch though, a couple of days ago i picked up guild wars 2, and when i got home and began installing it, at the start nothing seemed wrong untill i plugged the power supply into my laptop, then the thing i descriped happened and it stopped downloading also. As soon as i removed the power supply from my laptop it resumed downloading, stopped turning on and off, my mouse stopped freezing and it all seemed fine, and everytime i plug in my power supply it happens.
Would be really gratefull if anyone would help :-)
