    Gpu running hot


    Sorry if this is silly but I have a msi GeForce 8400 gs and it runs at 50 on idle oh and the heat sink at its thickest is 1 inch thick 1 inch

    Take the GPU out and blow out the heatsink and fan with a can of compressed air.

    yeh funny that it dont have an in bult fan oh well im using a fan from a dead power supply that keeps it now at 30 degrees hmm now to cleen up the wireing in side the case

    I've been known to use an oscillating room fan blowing directly on the processor sink for a day or two, till I got to Office Depot and bought another case fan. It's amazing, the harebrained ideas... Of course, this was a P4 750

    got me a 5770 now


    yeah got tnhat not to long after i posted this tread god it goees like a little deave and it has been reflowed 1 time cos of abuse aka overcloking
