Windows 7: Facing problem with dual display with window 7

Hi Guys

We are using window 7 professional on dell (OptiPlex 380 ) system model . with dual monitor one 17 inch and one 15 inch . Sometime 17 inch monitor gets disconnected and window unable to attach that monitor. We attach that monitor with DVI cable. We use to replace that monitor with same model monitor and then we can attached second monitor . But The same monitor works fine on other system with same OS and same model of system any suggestion to get rid of this problem we are facing this problem only with window 7

ITs related to window 7

I don't think it is related to Win 7. I think it is related to the Monitor and or video card and or the cable you are using. If you have 2 monitors that are the same make and model just use the one that works all the time on the dual monitor win 7 setup.
Windows 7 doesn't just disconnect one monitor at random. And if it is always that same monitor then it is a monitor, cable, monitor connection port or video card and or connection port on the video card Problem.

but when we interchange the monitor with same model and same OS system both monitor works fine
