Windows 7: I'm having trouble with the visuals on my Screen.

*Please if this is in the wrong section, just let me know*

Hey, i'm having a serious problem with not being able to read text on my screen, no matter what TV i use . I will attach some screen shots of what i can see using my phone.



Some other info:

1. I used to have a good quality HDMI cable, but my mum Snapped it moving my pc haha.
2. She replaced it with a £4.99 one (which is what i think may be my problem)
3. I'm using a TV for my screen. This is a goodmans 42" TV (need any more info, please ask)

Anything else you need, please do ask.

Are you sure you've changed the resolution to fit the resolution for your tv? assuming it's full hd, 1920x1080
