    Grapics card install cause internet to stop


    I installed a new card an now my Internet won't connect it's wired connection it detects it but its not connecting the grapics card install was successful great performance boost I installed a nivda GeForce 210 I'm running windows 7 64-bit I'm thinking the driver isn't compatible with my computers adapter should I try and find a update for it online if so where? Or should I buy a Ethernet card and install a driver from that

    I also should note that I removed the card and it will not revert and I do see a green light when I plug my Ethernet into my computer

    It'd be helpful if you gave us some information about the PC.

    It sounds like something has gotten messed up with your NIC (network interface controller). I suppose that there's a slight chance that limited PCI-E (PCI Express) resources could disable the NIC if you switched from onboard graphics to a discrete card, but you didn't even specify whether that is what you did.

    If you go into Device manager, what shows up for the network controller?

    I got over trying to find answer and bought myself a wireless adapter screw Ethernet I know it's better but I was a bit desperate and wasn't about to take it in a get it looked at and fixed for 70+ dollars
