Windows 7 Thinks there is another monitor installed.
One day I noticed my nVidia GPU was on on my laptop on boot up (It uses Optimus).
I eventually found the cause of this is windows believes there is a secondary monitor connected to the VGA port:
If I use Win-P, I can disable this display and my Optimus works fine.
I have tried this: Reset display settings for a monitor that is not plugged in?
However when I restart this phantom monitor appears.
Anyone have any ideas?
