Black screen after installing graphics drivers

    hi was this issue ever resolved as i have just installed windows 7 x64 and evrytime it boots to desktop it installs my ati drivers then asks me to reboot i do so and my computer screen goes black after windows logo i boot into safe mode uninstall drivers and then it comes back on normal but re installs my drivers and again black screen on boot up i think its either its setting a resolution my screen doesnt support or a refresh rate but i cant change it as i cant see it anu help is appreciated thanks.

    It is not a problem with your display's or anything as such. It is the fact that a part of your video card burnt out and only works as a VGA adapter. I know, because mine did the same, I took it to a video card tester and found out that I lost the GPU in the card that processes OpenGL and other 3D settings, so when it's trying to use these .dll's, the card no longer responds and shuts off the display.

    So my suggestion to you guys is to go buy a new video card. It has nothing to do with your OS or a virus, or a driver. It's the fact that it died. And I feel your pain.

    Pain is still here. I've changed card from ATI to NVIDIA, and the same effect. No news on solving the problem?

    Black screen while installing Sapphire Nitro R9 380
