ATI HD 4350 + Philips LCD TV = Bad combo?

I've browsed around the forums for a few days recently, and like a lot of the posts, all problems seem to be unique given their hardware variances. As such, my problem seems to be a little unique versus some of the more common ones.

I've had a nightmare trying to get everything working exactly the way I wanted, and honestly, it's really not asking for much. I recently bought a cheap Lenovo tower and wanted to have a straight HDMI-HDMI connection from PC to TV. I wanted to reduce the amount of wires, so a single cable for both audio and video was perfect. The hardware specs for my entire setup is listed below.
Hardware:
Lenovo Tower - H210 Desktop
3rd Party Graphics card - GIGABYTE GV-R435OC-512I HD4350
LCD TV - Philips 42 42PFL5704D F7 120Hz 2MS LCD HDTV
Software:
Windows 7 Ultimate x64
Catalyst 9.9
Realtek Drivers for Windows 7
Latest firmware drivers for my TV (v1.13)

Issue(s):
1. During startup of the computer, my TV loses the source/signal from the Computer. I have to get out of that video mode (HDMI1), and change to another source (HDMI2) then go back to the original HDMI port once I'm fully logged into Windows 7. The point at which it loses the signal is about 10 seconds into the 'Starting Windows' screen with the pretty logo shimmering.
I can get around this sometimes by starting the computer with the TV off and waiting for it to fully log into Windows before turning on the TV. Other times when I try this method, it will completely not detect the source, and I have to change the HDMI input on the TV to another slot.
2. Within Windows, sometimes the TV will turn on using the correct HDMI Audio output, and other times it will use the Realtek onboard sound output. When it uses the Realtek output, the ATI HDMI output is greyed out (it states that it is 'unplugged') and I cannot select it as my default.
Sometimes I can remedy this if I unplug the HDMI source and replug it back in.
3. Sometimes my TV will not scale proportionally to the resolution and defined (1080p) and I have to use the format feature on my TV to properly fit it on the screen. While this is a smaller issue, it's still highly annoying.

Overall, the system works, but it's extremely annoying to have to get up and keep trying a series of unplugging and plugging back in before it works the proper way.
Some things I'd like to add: I didn't uninstall any existing drivers that Windows installed. I simply installed Catalyst over everything.
Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Suggestions are welcome as well. I'm open to buying a new graphics card if that's what it takes, but keep in mind that the stock PSU is only 280w so it can only handle so much.
