Windows 7: AMD Radeon HD 7520g-7670 dual driver error

a recent driver update is causing the error message: "No AMD graphics driver installed or the AMD driver is not functioning properly. Please install driver appropriate for your AMD hardware"



according to device manager everything is fine

this and i am now unable to switch between dual and single gpu's with the AMD vision engine control center

a restoration allowed me to access the gpu settings again but a second installation of the newest drivers is causing the same issues - no/improper driver message and no access the gpu settings

tia for any and all advice



*the gpu is working normally as far as i can tell - other than the error massage at start-up
