Full Screen Videos Laggy (youtube, hulu, etc.)

I'm running a laptop with an ati x1600 (using windows update driver), videos running in full screen are always choppy. Anyone else have this issue?

That could be a reason there. You use the WU driver. Try the latest available for your card from ATI. AMD Driver
Also make sure your version of Adobe Flash is current.

Currently AMD does not provide any driver support for Mobility Radeon™ products. All driver and technical support for Mobility Radeon™ products is provided by the original laptop or notebook manufacturer. The drivers that are available for download at ati.amd.com are for desktop products only.
yeah....

edit: so after hours of searching online it appears that there is ZERO support for the mobility x1600. Looks like it's time to reformat and go back to XP.

Before reformat, try installing the XP driver in compatibility mode, from the Asus site.

I doubt it will work but easy to try.
