Release notes says better use the .exe end-users agreement for a smooth video install...

superb. you gave me it on a platter. I was not even searching for it, just stumbled upon it. oven fresh, posted hours ago.

my cpu-z shows
graphics Intel 82852/82852 GM/GME rev 2
Chipset Intel i945G rev A2

ever since I loaded Windows 7, almost everything complained about graphics driver. Windows performance index is barely 3.1 ff consumes upto 400 MB RAM, directx2 not activated and what not, and all mention graphics driver. I had installed one from intel, but to no benefit.

I am downloading this. much huge (109.39 MB) than previous download (five times, that was 22 MB only).

wish me luck that it evaporated all my graphics problems.

Downloaded entire 110 MB, ran it, got the message
"Your computer doesn't meet the requirement to install this"
Abort.

:-( waste of bandwidth, time, effort.

I have dual core 2.00 GHz. If some hardware differences were operative, Intel should have told before hand.

Yeah, it's best to read the "Release Notes" first to make sure you meet requirements, and for what cards the driver is for. Sorry you waisted your bandwidth.

Purpose:
This software driver package will install the Intel® HD Graphics driver for:

2nd Generation Intel® Core™ Processors with Intel® HD Graphics 3000/2000
3rd Generation Intel® Core™ Processors with Intel® HD Graphics 4000/2500

These drivers will not function with any other product.

For your Intel 82945G Express Chipset, it says the latest driver version is 15.12.75.4.64.1930.
