Windows 7: AMD Driver has Stopped Responding

AMD Driver has Stopped Responding

I'm not sure if this is the right place to put this, but I'll give it a try. My computer blanks out and I get a "AMD Driver has stopped responding and has recovered message" while watching online videos. When this happens, the screen of the video player will usually turn a dark green and I'll keep hearing sound. Unless I click the video (or even an animated gif) off the screen, my computer will get the blue screen with a whole bunch of gobbildy gook that appears too fast for me to even read it before it reboots itself. What I have been doing is, as soon as I get an AMD warning, I shut my computer down naturally so I don't lose my cookies.

Does anyone have a clue what's going on here? If so, dumb it down as best as you can because I'm an idiot.
