    Red dots


    Hi all,

    I have need of your guidance:) I have here a old pc at work. But the problem is after i installed the ATI drivers from the onboard card on the motherboard i get red dots in screen.

    I tried to:
    - changed cable, same effect
    - changed monitor, still red dots
    - i tried to install a 2x 3d cards but when i use that for my monitor the pc does not even respond. It stops responding after the Logo so thats in the beginning.

    Can i assume there is somethign wrong with the motherboard? I guess the pc is dead, but maybe you guys have a solution i havent thought of.

    please can you post your complete pc specs?
    Have you tried to install a different version of drivers?

    Angl1NL,
    As mentioned above a list of the machine spec's is needed to help us understand. It maybe you're asking too much from this old machine? Does work know you are trying this install, do you have an IT specialist? Spec's first on the machine and then the various cards you've tried.
