Possible GPU or MoBo problem?

Install this and keep an eye out for high CPU temps when gaming. Just look at the maximum temperature recorded. My heart is playing up today so I have to rest and do nothing so may not be able to check until the morning my time.

Well after gaming, my CPU heated up to 55 degreesC ! i guess that i should change my CPU cooler... I just need some help

I have a pretty low budget so i need some help to make a choice. I just found the coolers on Google Images, with description. In Serbia, there is a good pc shop where i can buy 1 of these 3 heat sinks.

I recommended a heat sink in my last post. You may need to ask in a new thread for heat sinks in your country.

ok, hope that solves my problem... by your opinion, how are my other temperatures standing? do i have to change something else?

This is the hardware monitor you need unless you want to go PRO and buy it. Uninstal the PRO version and download and install this regular version. 50C as an absolute max on CPU, maybe 60C on video card. Cooler the better for reliability and longer life. The 3 machines I have running here have been on all day and have max CPU temps of 40C.

My graphics card goes up to 35 c and stays there, even on max usage :)

On Tuseday i planed to buy this heat sink for 45$
Hyper 212 EVO - Cooler Master - Leading Provider of Computer Case, Cooler, Power Supply, Laptop Cooling, Gaming Peripherals
Looking forward to improve my CPU as well with a Core2Quad Q6600, and my MoBo supports it as well
ASUS - Motherboards- ASUS P5N-D
I just don't know if this cooler will cool a quad core, or should i by a
( Noctua.at - sound-optimised premium components "Designed in Austria"! ) for 108$

I have a really low budget now, but i don't want to buy a cooler that is incapable to cool a Core2Quad.

I know that this has nothing to do with GPUs but i don't want to open a new thread for 2 or 3 answers :P

I am cooling 2 six cores with a pair of them so you will be fine. Make sure your case is deep enough and has room for the heatsink. You will also most likely have to take the motherboard out of the case to fit it unless your case has a motherboard tray or a hole allowing access to the backside of the motherboard from the other side of the case.

Your CPU temps are fine. 55c is nothing - save your money that is not your problem. Try reinstalling (the latest) video drivers. Run some memory tests. If those don;t tell you anything, you may have a failed graphics card.
