Fresh install win 7 x3100 WEI score is lower than before

    hi guys,

had a look and cant find similar issue anywhere. Basically i have a dell inspiron 1520 with x3100 i had to reformat windows 7.
    .
Everything is fine except i can noticably tell my games are slower than before. I ran the WEI and gaming graphics is reported at 3.1

The gaming score of WEI before i reformatted was 3.5. I have the latest windows 7 x3100 drivers from intel.com since the dell site supports vista x32 only. i have latest chipset drivers. Can you please help me?

    thanks
    Alex

That's normal, as the new technologies come out some devices gets old and Windows 7 puts a lower score in it, so if you want to get a higher score update your pc specs.

It's a laptop -- so how does he "update his specs"?

From what I could find online, the onboard chipset is an Intel GMA X3100. If those are the video drivers you're using, it's no wonder that your scores are lower.

That's as 2007-era chipset and that it even still works in Win7, is something of a miracle.
