Intel 4000 I am not a good judge of Intel's graphics because I have never ran it alone. I have a discrete card installed (Nvidia GeForce GTX 670) and I use LucidLogix Virtu MVP. Which supposedly switches back and forth according to load.
I know I play Assassins III with no problems and the card is rated 7.9 with Win 7. | My System Specs |

I just recently sold my HD 5770 and it scored a 7.4/7.5 on my system as well. I also don't think those tests accurately reflect what the HD4000 graphics will do, because according to everything I've read there is no way mine should run games as good as they do. I have no explanation for it either. I would agree it is equivalent to something in the HD 5000 series. In a flat out foot race, I would say it is close to a 5770, even though the WEI numbers are a full point lower. | My System Specs | | Computer type PC/Desktop System Manufacturer/Model Number Custom Built OS Windows 7 Professional 64bit SP1 CPU Intel Core i5-3570K @ 4.5GHz Motherboard Asus Sabertooth Z77 Memory Corsair Vengeance 16GB (4x4) @1866MHz Graphics Card Intel HD4000 Sound Card Onboard Audio Monitor(s) Displays Dell S2309W Screen Resolution 1920x1080 Keyboard Max Nighthawk X8 Mechanical keyboard Mouse Logitech MX 500 Wired PSU Seasonic X750 80+ Gold Full Modular Case Antec Eleven Hundred Super Mid Tower Cooling Intel Liquid Cooler Hard Drives Samsung 830 128GB SSD - OS

What you have to remember is that depending on your system, there will be some games that it won't even turn on, and others that it will run wide open. It is, in NO way, a substitution for a dedicated graphics card for someone who is a real gamer. It only does what I need it to at the moment, and I see its limitations. What are you comparing it to? | My System Specs | | Computer type PC/Desktop System Manufacturer/Model Number Custom Built OS Windows 7 Professional 64bit SP1 CPU Intel Core i5-3570K @ 4.5GHz Motherboard Asus Sabertooth Z77 Memory Corsair Vengeance 16GB (4x4) @1866MHz Graphics Card Intel HD4000 Sound Card Onboard Audio Monitor(s) Displays Dell S2309W Screen Resolution 1920x1080 Keyboard Max Nighthawk X8 Mechanical keyboard Mouse Logitech MX 500 Wired PSU Seasonic X750 80+ Gold Full Modular Case Antec Eleven Hundred Super Mid Tower Cooling Intel Liquid Cooler Hard Drives Samsung 830 128GB SSD - OS

KBrady, if you were referring to me, I have a 670. During my build, I had removed the card during bench testing, so thought just as a test I would try out the Intel graphics. It did fine for me, just would not even open BF3 though. I tried it several times with a 3770K, it just didn't have the horse power, I guess. | My System Specs | | Computer type PC/Desktop System Manufacturer/Model Number Home Built- Always under construction OS Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 X64/ linux in VM CPU Intel i7-3770K Motherboard Asus Maximus V Extreme Z77 Memory 8GB G.Skill Ripjaws Z DDR3-2400 (2X4GB) Graphics Card EVGA GTX 670 SC 4GB Sound Card On Board Monitor(s) Displays Asus 24" LCD Screen Resolution 1920X1080 Keyboard Logitech G510 Mouse Logitech G500 PSU CORSAIR AX850 Case Cooler Master HAF X Cooling Custom Water Cooling Hard Drives Samsung 840 Pro 256 GB, Samsung 840 Pro 256 GB, Samsung 830 256GB, Samsung HD103SJ 1TB . No problem, and I agree with you 100%. I just wasn't sure whether you were addressing him or me. Not to worry, it would take a whole lot more than that to offend me.
