HDTV - Resolution Problems - stuck at 24Hz.

Hi,

I have a 32" HDTV as my primary display for my PC, i have been having trouble with resolutions, i researched on the internet that the native resolution is 1366 x 768, i set it to this in Nvidia control panel, it didn't fit the screen so i re sized it with the option in Nvidia control panel, it now fits the screen properly but the refresh rate is at 24hz and there are no other rates to change it to other than 23hz so now there is blur and the cursor "lags" when its moved.
Im using a HDMI cable to connect to my TV from my GeForce GTX 550 Ti.

Note: I have tried all of the available resolution but i cant get any clear ones apart from ones such as 1024 x 768 but it is stretched and everything is big. Also, in control panel and nvidia control panel they both say my native resolution is 1920 x 1080 but this resolution fits but when the refresh rate is set to above 30hz i get flickering on the screen.

All info about my tv can be found here
