ATI Mobility Radeon X2300 problem...help please!

    when i istall windows it show a low resolution few colored screen, after that, when i install ati drivers everything works fine...aero..games..everything...excepting bootscreen...

    yeah...mine is 2000 series but is based on a 1200 chip that was modified so in fact is much closer to 1000 series than 2000

    Just download the 2000 driver that was in the picture above. It should work.

    Yeah, what you are describing is for the most part normal function, I can't say what about the boot screen, but it's a small matter, especially with older hardware.

    Try the 2000 series drivers.

    tried the 2000 series drivers...doesn't contain x2300 driver...runned a scan with driver scanner and it said that my driver is up to date...don't know what else to do...and searched on google the same problem, it seems that i'm the only 1 with this problem/ the only 1 with windows 7 installed...

    Here's ATI's word.

    737-26978: Windows Vista Drivers for Mobility Radeon Products

    In other words, they don't support the x2300 series.

    Try your manufacturer website.
