    1GB ati redeon and Nvidia same?


    i don much about the Video card just wanna know that like ram : like say system has 4 gb or 8 gb we dont ask about company so it system specs say 1 gb video card are they same or manufacturer matter different models but if the memory same so whats the difference?

    not my question sometime on game dvd back side say processor ram and video card 512 or 1 GB no company or model so does it matter that i have 1 gb ati redeon or Nvidia?

    As far as that part of a game requirement goes, no it doesn't matter. More important than how much memory is on the card is what card it is. The models listed for the minimum specs are just that, the minimum card that the game will run on at low settings.

    I think he is asking about the manufacturer of RAM on the video cards. No, it's not relevant in the least and is probably the same as the actual manufacturers of regular RAM........more than likely either Samsung or Micron.

    so if the game requirment says that we need 1 gb Video card it doesnot matter i have Nvidia's any model or AtI redeon hd's any model of it is 1 GB game will run if not on Max setting atleast on Low.
    i have 1 gb Ati radeon HD 5470

    That is correct. If the game requires at minimum "x" amount of graphics card memory, it doesn't matter if it's Nvidia or AMD. As a point of interest, most games will have a "Minimum" and "Recommended" list of hardware......I've always thought and told others that they should regard the "Recommended" list as the minimum requirements to play the game.
