GPU Overheating.
So i just got upgrade, new mobo, new cpu,a used memory and my old graphic card to build a system ill play games on.
Heres a list of my new components :
m5a97 r2.0
Phenom II 965
Kingston HyperX 2x2gb 1600mhz
Your prob wondering whats the prob, well i have this 5670 that was in my old rig before this one(ddr2 2gb,random asus budget mobo, athlon 2 240),and it was working wonderfull, but as soon ive installed new components it started overheating and shutting down my PC.
Ive opened the card, cleaned it,replaced old paste, still nothing.
I really have no idea whats going on...atm i have no cash for new gpu so thats out of question...
Now the thing is i can start the pc,use browser and stuff like that, but as soon i enter games my gpu gets at 70 degrees and pc shuts down.
The only way i can play something is to drop down all game settings to low and up the cooler speed on my GPU via Catalyst at like 80%,but it gives me headache from all the noise...
Does anyone have any solution / trick / tip?
Ps my warranty is gone like half year ago...
