    HD4570 - driver help

I have no clue which of the drivers this card needs from AMD's site. They honestly couldn't make it more confusing even if they gave it their all.

    Right now I have:

ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4500/5100 Series
    4/5/2012
    8.961.0.0

It's causing some pretty bad distortions in Fallout 3 (patched of course). Character hands are spikes and there are triangles missing from the hair and character bodies. I see straight through them to the background image at least but... yuck. Pretty sure it's the driver. I have no problems with the GPU in anything else, working flawlessly.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

Edit: This what I need? http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownloa...w-vista64.aspx

Thank you. So between that page's results you got, and this one... which should I attempt first?

Thank you again, I went ahead and installed that one. Game plays without the distortions anymore but now when I boot up, there's a CMD screen that pops up and then goes away... kind of annoying but I suppose as long as it's stable it doesn't matter.

I didn't use the uninstaller first so perhaps after a clean install later on that will stop. Didn't want it to uninstall other AMD drivers unrelated to this because I'd probably never be able to find the right ones to put back in that case. I mean, AMD's site (to me) is chaos where that is concerned.

Found out my chipset and WiFi drivers were very out of date as well thanks to Intel's auto-detect so got those installed too. Wonder what else is out of date... no idea where to even start with that but lol.

Hum sorry late reply Magus Glad it's going mate. Now there is a way to stop that pop up and I am trying to remember how it goes cos I had the same thing on my Sandy Bridge.

I have an idea it was either a tick box in that window or a pop up block setting or in msconfig in the Boot section I unticked it there - worth a try the last option see my pic.

Start > type msconfig > right click on the small blue window > run as admin > click on Boot and untick all but your OS and security (you will see everything if you scroll down).
