    Dual Screen Help and Question

i recently brought a VGA splitter for my PC so i may have dual screens. a few problems have occurred.
    1) Windows Fails to Detect the second monitor despite duplicating my screen on the second monitor
    2) Windows + P Command is stuck on Computer only and will not let me "Extend" the screen.
    3) Non Generic PC screen? i have no clue what that is to be honest.

Not sure if this is my Graphics Card or the screens or Windows itself but if anyone can help i will be very thankful

here are a few screenshots of what the general Scrn Res and Grahpics card are inside my PC thanks for helping if you solve this :)

A splitter will do exactly that. Split the video.
You need a cable that works with the VGA output of the GPU, and another one that works with HDMI, or DVI. But NOT a splitter.

You need -two- cables for -two- monitors.
In your graphics card you plug the HDMI cable, and the other end to the monitor.
And in the same graphics card, you plug either DVI/VGA/Display port cable, and the other end to the other monitor.
